Newhouse Builds custom home front elevation with stone, black siding and timber entry
Custom Homes

A home drawn
around your life.

Custom homes and cabins in Rapid City and the Black Hills, designed, priced and built by the same team.

The Approach

Custom starts with your lot and how you live, not a stock plan with a finish sheet.

We start with your site, your routines and the way you move through a house, then draw the plan to fit. Ceiling heights, window placement, mudroom lockers and pantry depth are all decisions you make with us, not defaults.

We also build simpler homes on a careful budget, using the same planning process.

Our Process

Six steps from first conversation to move-in.
